Brian Bowles vs Urijah Faber at UFC 139 event
Former bantamweight champion Brian Bowles WEC did not get the UFC title shot he had hoped, but it becomes a struggle that will certainly give you a No. 1 contender with a victory.
UFC officials said Thursday night that Bowles will face former featherweight champion Urijah Faber at UFC 139.
Although not officially announced UFC 139 will take place November 19 at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. The event is scheduled to have a title fight heavyweight Cain Velasquez field and leading contender Junior Dos Santos.

Nate Marquardt signs with British Association of Mixed Martial Arts

British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA) officials today announced a multi-fight contract with the former UFC and the former King of Pancrase Nate Marquardt.
"When we learned that the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission lifted the suspension of Marquardt, we jumped at the chance to get to sign," said the executive BAMM Liam Fisher. "It is a competitor of the first order and an asset to any promotion. Words can not express how much we are delighted that Marquardt is now fighting under the banner BAMM."

Brad Tavares vs Tim Credeur add to UFC 137
A bout between "The Ultimate Fighter" alumni Tim Credeur and Brad Tavares has been added to the UFC 137 lineup.
UFC officials today announced that verbal agreements are in place for the middleweight bout.
Featuring a welterweight title fight between current champ Georges St-Pierre and former Strikeforce titleholder Nick Diaz, UFC 137 takes place Oct. 29 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Thiago Alves vs Papy Abedi at UFC 138
A fight between welterweights Thiago Alves UFC veteran and young newcomer Papy Abedi was added to the UFC 138 event in November 5 at at LG National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England.
